Why We Exist
4Kids.Dev is built on the idea that many children use data-powered apps every day, yet rarely learn how structured data works. We believe Grades 6–8 are a strong time to introduce SQL and data concepts because students are ready for more abstract thinking and can still develop interest in tech pathways.
Emerging research in computing education suggests that early exposure to data and SQL can build stronger confidence in later data‑related coursework.
We don’t just teach SQL — we open eyes to careers that most kids (and their parents) don’t even know exist.
