No — we designed this specifically for the 10-14 brain.

Students this age are in a sweet spot for abstract thinking. Our pet shop scenario makes it concrete and relatable — every query has a real purpose ("Who adopted Buddy?" "How much did we earn?"). We scaffold from simple (Lesson 1: What is a database?) to complex (Lesson 8: Business analysis project). Practice problems have 4 difficulty levels so every student succeeds.

Typical coding clubs teach block-based tools (Scratch), games, and animations — great for fun and expression. SQL FUN teaches real text-based SQL, analyzing real business data, connected relational thinking, and career-connected learning.

The key difference: Coding clubs teach expression (make something cool). SQL FUN teaches understanding (how information works in the real world). These skills complement each other — students who do both become more well-rounded and see the full technology stack.
